Auditioning Rules

MMChorus' staff recommend auditionees to read this thread before posting their audition for one of our choruses.

How to audition:

Note : We do not accept the 'Post in Video Response' and/or 'Personal Message' methods on YouTube to make it easier for our judges to judge the auditions.

Post your audition in the forum thread of the song you want to audition for.

You can audition with either a youtube video or a download link to your audition.

Make sure that the link/URL of your audition is working, or else our staff won't be able to judge your audition.

NO comments or chat will be allowed in the thread.
We only allow auditions to be posted in the audition threads.

In case you would like to redo your audition , please look for your previous post and edit it or delete your old post and post a new link of your audition.
(Note: Please inform us if you are going to repost a new audition)

FAQ:

Q: Do I need to sing the whole song?
A: It's best if you sing the whole song , but if you don't want to, at least sing up to the first chorus.

Q: Can I send my audition in without the background music?
A: Yes, but make sure the timing's the same as in the original.
But it'd be better if you use background music for your audition.

Q: Can I send my audition as a video response to your video on YouTube?
A: No, you can't. To make things easier for our staff, please post your audition on our audition threads.
(Auditions will be rejected if you're not able to fulfill these requirements.)

Q: When will we hear the results of the auditions?
A: We'll announce it a few days after the deadline.
